Why do you only do children's shows for ages 4 to 7?
I have built my whole routine around the 4 to 7 age group. My props that I use are all geared towards a younger audience and the show is very age appropriate. I use various props such as breaking wands, puppets that give out treats, rabbits that play Hide & Seek as well as Clowns that lose their heads + a whole lot more.

What escapes are your specialties?
Doing a straight-jacket escape is always fun as people automatically pick up on the level of difficulty and discomfort you are in. They almost imagine themselves in the jacket and feel your confinement.
I also do a 100-foot rope escape, where I usually get two audience members to tie me up with a hundred feet of rope as tight as they can and I often challenge them that IŽll escape in less time than it took them to rope me in.
In addition, I do a variety of in-out routines with ropes, chains and shackles which keeps the audience guessing.
How'd you get started? Is there a school for escape artists?
I am pretty much self-taught but frequently attend meetings at the College of Magic in Cape Town where together with other magicians we sometimes share secrets.
Do you have your own style?
My escape acts are partly serious but have the comedy element as well. Making the audience laugh relaxes them and me. Just when they think they have got me, I am out and this creates amazement and bewilderment from the crowd.
What do I need to provide for a successful show?
Not much, just your guests, the venue, a small table & a chair. Glenn works out of small crate so he just needs a table to set up. For groups larger than 20 a good PA system is recommended.
If you would like he can bring his portable set up and he can perform in one area designated by you.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Generally speaking events are booked between 2 weeks and 6 months in advance although sometimes there are last minute cancellations. I would therefore suggest you book early to avoid disappointment.
Does Glenn do childrenŽs parties?
Yes, "Glendini" has a great magic routine and show for children that will keep the little ones thoroughly entertained.
From "Tinkerbell" appearing in his ears to bunny rabbits appearing out of hats and handing the kidŽs chocolates, "Glendini" will have your kids loving every moment. He is a specialist in the 5-7 year old age groups.
We are expecting a lot of guests. Will Glenn be able to get around everybody?
The general rule is 1 magician per 100 people. If more than 100 are attending
the best scenario is to do a close up performance in one area or an escape.
How far will Glenn travel?
Glenn can travel any distance to be at your event, but anything outside a 20km radius from Cape Town will be charged for at R2.00 per kilometer.
If you are wanting to book Glenn for events in other regions of South Africa, flight costs and accomodation will need to be covered by the client.
What kind of performance does Glenn do?
There are two packages to choose from: Stand-Alone escape show or a combination of both escapes & some magic
Magic will consist of Sleight of hand magic with cards, coins, rubber bands, magic.
